Welcome to a new discussion thread.
This is coming at a time when I am taking a break from Option Buying trades after continuous losses. Ironical, maybe.
I had mentioned that looking back is important. We can know about the mistakes made and find out what went wrong.
Over last few days of thinking, the following points came to the fore:
Option Buying can be profitable over a long period of time. How is 4 years as a sample case? I believe that is a good enough period.
Buy an option and stay with it. Nothing could be simpler than that.
Do not try to modify or change the trade. Again simple but not easy for traders.
We take only 1 trade in a month. Absolutely simple but not many will believe me at this point. Well, depending on your capital number of lots can be increased.
The return on capital over 4 year period is more than 50% per year.
Looks too good to be true. It is true.
Have I gone senile? No. I am alright with my mental faculties.
Why I did not stumble upon such a strategy earlier?
Well, I am just another trader like any of you. We just do not believe in simple things and try different things.
This was just the trailer.
The details will be posted in tomorrow’s post.
Meanwhile your comments are welcome.
