NIFTY made a strong down move on Monday.
Now we have experts talking about 10500 levels. Where were these greats hiding till last week?
No one actually knows where the index will go. We just have to take our chances based on strength and weakness and if some of the trades come good we make some money .
Yesterday we had TATASTEEL, BHARATFORG, M&M, RELINFRA and IDEA and HEROMOTOCO making new 52 week lows.
ZEEL recovered and we got out at Rs. 70. Yesterday we had shown PUT 420 at Rs. 120. It is okay to give up part of the notional gains. It was markets favour to us which was taken back partly.
We exited HEROMOTOCO PUT 2800 at Rs, 150 and entered PUT 2600 @ Rs. 20.00.
No fresh trade was taken in ZEEL in view of trend reversal.
The new trade yesterday was L&TFH PUT 130. This trade went right from the word go. One of the readers has sent me a mail with screenshot of his trades on Monday .
He could buy at the low price of the day and exited at Rs. 5.80. When IDEA PUT 31 was suggested , he went for PUT 32 at almost same price and booked profit yesterday. Congratulations.
This is our status now.
A pretty picture and we hope it stays like that till expiry.
EXPIRY TRADES:
With three days left to expiry let us look for some low risk trades with good reward potential:
BEL:
CMP Rs. 79.95. Trend Negative .
52 week low Rs. 74.25.
We go for PUT 75 @ Rs. 0.50. Lot Size 6000. Max Risk — Rs. 3000.
Volumes are slightly lower in this option but we ignore this factor.
HINDALCO:
PUT 195 @ Rs. 1.30-1.40.
Lot Size 3500. Max Risk Rs. 4900.
Trade cautiously , trade profitably.

Sir,
What is the minimum capital requirement in case of calls like the above ones. Will the new rule of having entire margin money in the account towards expiry affect the capital.
Thanks

In view of physical settlement of options as declared by SEBI, how this methodology will change to keep the positions till expiry and from when this physical settlement will start.
Do we need to tweek our methodology in view of physical settlement.
